Located approximately 40 kilometers from the bustling city of Indore, the Bamniya Kund is an enchanting waterfall nestled in Melendi, Madhya Pradesh. This waterfall is often hailed as one of the most breathtaking sights in Madhya Pradesh and is a must-visit for anyone touring around Indore.

Bamniya Kund is a mesmerizing spectacle with water cascading down from a height of 300 feet. It creates a captivating scene as the clear azure water meets the surrounding brown rocky terrain and verdant flora. Nestled within dense woods, the waterfall provides a serene getaway for nature enthusiasts. The location is tranquil, with cool, refreshing water and undisturbed sounds of nature. Beyond its beauty, Bamniya Kund is also a hub for outdoor activities including trekking, rappelling, flying fox, camping, and is a popular spot for photography enthusiasts.

To reach this untouched paradise, visitors should take road transport from Indore to Badgonda Village. The trek begins at Nakheri Dam, a 4-kilometer walk from Badgonda Village. The trail then winds through 7 to 8 kilometers of wilderness to reach the waterfall. As you navigate through the lush woods, you might catch glimpses of various birds, animals, and unique local plant species.

The verdant beauty of this spot remains constant throughout the year, but the ideal time to visit the Bamniya Kund waterfalls is from September to December. Although monsoons bring out a fresh charm in the landscape, they can also make the paths quite slippery and difficult to traverse. Additionally, the rainy season sees a rise in mosquitoes and other insects.

Start your day early and meet your trekking group at a designated meeting point in Indore.
Board the transportation arranged for the trek and head towards Bamniya Kund.

08:30 AM: Breakfast En Route

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant or eatery on the way to Bamniya Kund. A good meal will energize you for the trek.

10:30 AM: Arrival at Bamniya Kund Base

Reach the base of Bamniya Kund, where your trekking guide will provide a briefing about the trail, safety guidelines, and other necessary instructions.

10:45 AM: Commence the Trek

Start the trek towards Bamniya Kund. The trail may take you through lush green landscapes and some rocky terrains.

12:00 AM: Reach Bamniya Kund Waterfall

After a moderate trek, you'll reach the picturesque Bamniya Kund Waterfall.
Take some time to relax, enjoy the tranquility of the waterfall, and capture photographs.

01:00 PM: Maggie Break

Have a Maggie at a scenic spot near the waterfall, which may be arranged by us .
Relish your meal amidst the peaceful surroundings of nature.

02:30 PM: Descend and Return

Begin your descent back to the base of Bamniya Kund, following the same path taken during the ascent.

04:00 PM: Departure from Bamniya Kund

Return to the starting point at the base of Bamniya Kund.
Board the transportation arranged by the tour operator for your return journey to Indore.

6:30 PM: Arrival in Indore

Arrive back in Indore, where the one-day Bamniya Kund trek concludes.
Bid farewell to your fellow trekkers and the trekking guide.
