Day 1: Srinagar Arrival | Drive to Sonamarg

Distance/Time: 90 Kilometers | 4 Hours Drive Approx
The group will assemble at the Tourist Reception Centre in Srinagar at 11 AM.
Drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg, where Shitkari village serves as the Kashmir Great Lakes trek base camp.

Distance/Time: 11 Kilometers | 8 Hours Approx
After early morning breakfast, head towards Nichnai.
The trail offers views of the Sonamarg Valley, streams, and lush green meadows of Shekdur.
Follow the Nichnai stream to reach the campsite, where dinner and an overnight stay await.

Day 3: Nichnai to Vishansar Lake via Nichnai Pass

Distance/Time: 12 Kilometers | 7 Hours Approx
After breakfast, trek towards the scenic Vishansar Lake.
Pass through alpine forests and gorges filled with small glaciers.
Ascend through meadows to Nichnai Pass, offering stunning views of the Sonamarg Valley.
Descend to Vishansar Lake, set up camp, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Vishansar Lake to Gadsar via Gadsar Pass

Distance/Time: 14 Kilometers | 8 Hours Approx
After morning tea and breakfast, trek towards Gadsar.
Pass Kishansar Lake, Yamsar Lake, and finally Gadsar Lake.
Set up camp near Gadsar Lake, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in tents.

Distance/Time: 12 Kilometers | 6 Hours Approx
After breakfast, trek towards Satsar camp, nestled at 12,000 feet.
Traverse through lush green forests and majestic mountain terrains.
Set up camp near the Satsar Army camp, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 6 Satsar to Gangabal Twin Lakes via Zaj Pass

Distance/Time: 11 Kilometers | 6 Hours Approx
After breakfast, trek through ascends and descends, passing ridges and lakes.
Reach Gangabal and Nundkol Lakes, nestled at the base of the Harmukh Peak.
Set up camp near Nundkol Lake, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 7: Gangabal to Naranag | Drive to Srinagar

Distance/Time: 11 Kilometers | 6 Hours Approx
After breakfast, descend from Gangabal to Naranag.
Drive back to Srinagar, where the group will disassemble. End of the tour.

Accommodation: 6 nights of tented accommodation on a triple-sharing basis.
Meals: All veg meals from Day 1 dinner to Day 7 breakfast.
Snacks: Morning/evening tea/coffee with light snacks.
Camping Logistics: Tent, sleeping bags, mattresses, dining tent, toilet tent.
Trek Leader: Experienced trek leader.
Permits: All necessary fees and permits.
Safety Equipment: Basic first aid kit with oximeter and oxygen cylinder.
Guide Ratio: 1:10

Transportation from Srinagar TRC – Sitkari/Naranag – Srinagar TRC.
Any expenses of personal nature.
